New Microsoft Certifications from MVS
Microsoft is transitioning from the generic MCP/MCSA/MCSE certifications to MCTS (Technology Specialist) and MCITP (IT Professional, role specific) certifications and exams.
Windows 2003 certifications don't expire, are still highly valued and can be used as credit to upgrade to Server 2008 MCTS/MCITP. MCTS exprie once the technology platform stops being supported. MCITP certifications don't expire but will have continuing certification requirements to stay current.
