Professionals with an MCSA on Windows Server 2003 must pass four exam to become an MCTS and MCITP on Windows Server 2008, or just your MCTS. Existing MCSAs who pass this exam earn five distinct certifications:

  • MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration
  • MCTS: Windows Server 2008 - Active Directory Configuration
  • MCTS: Windows Server 2008 - Network Infrastructure Configuration
  • MCTS: Windows Server 2008 - Application Platform Configuration
  • PRO: Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Administrator

Students can achieve achieve the MCITP & MCTS 2008: Windows Server 2008 Administrator certification by staying an extra day and taking Exam 70-646 PRO: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator.
